Hello friends!

I hope the Fall has been treating you well. Vancouver’s been blessed with a stunning October. I’m still wearing shorts and a T-shirt on October 23! No complaints. Very soon we’ll be drowning in rain.

This summer I finally made it to Romania. The country has long fascinated me, and what a pleasant surprise. Bucharest oozed charm and old-school texture. The city had plenty of parks, cozy coffee shops, and restaurants tucked behind leafy, secret entrances. North of the city, Therme Bucharest is Europe’s largest wellness center, and I had the most incredible five-hour experience. Highly recommend.

My last stop was the picturesque town of Brasov in the Carpathian Mountains. Immortalized in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Bran Castle did not disappoint. Neither did Peles Castle, an extravagant German-built masterpiece that took my breath away.

I’m madly busy with book #3. This year has been extremely upbeat with book and TV projects. I love busy hands, so I better be careful what I wish for.
